ANOKHI's French Connection Event

These events are ALWAYS such a highlight for ANOKHI because they are an opportunity for us to meet the fabulous ANOKHI public and mingle directly with each and every one of you. The event took place on Thursday November 10, 2011 at the French Connection flagship store on Bloor Street in Toronto, and was a resounding success!

The red carpet was rolled out, hors d’oeuvres were passed around and Pop Chips were snacked on all night long. Appleton Estate Rum mixes were flowing, Fiji Water for those who don’t drink alcohol and a cupcake tower was devoured ravenously, courtesy of Pretty Sweet Cakes. L’Oréal Professionel, Faces Cosmetics and CND Nails provided complimentary hair, makeup and manicure services respectively, and music was rocking the place with an in-house DJ.

The store was hopping from the moment the doors opened at 6:30 p.m. In fact, people started lining up a half-hour before the event offi cially started. There was hustle, bustle, mix and mingle of more than 220 people, the ANOKHI and French Connection teams and media.

CP24’s fabulous news anchor Farah Nasser hosted the event; she was the perfect hostess to keep the flow of the evening going with her high energy, interaction with guests and all the fantastic door prizes she gave away, kindly donated by L’Oréal Professionel, Faces Cosmetics, CND Nails and French Connection. ANOKHI’s CEO, Raj Girn, addressed the attendees to thank them for their participation, followed by French Connection’s vice president of marketing Charmain Emerson, who announced the highlight of the night: a storewide 30% discount off all regular-priced merchandise. Attendees shopped feverously into the night.

French Connection’s fashion show for their holiday looks rolled out to an anticipated crowd at 8 p.m., and was met with an appreciative applause for the half-hour instillation hosted by ANOKHI Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief, Hina P. Ansari and Farah Nasser in a conversationalstyle address.

ANOKHI’s photographer, Big Al Studios, was in the house, capturing all of the magic, as well as ANOKHI PULSE TV guest hosted by media personality, Travis Dhanraj.

Attendees left with swag bags in tow, a copy of the latest issue of ANOKHI Magazine and a great deal of specially priced discounted buys which were exclusive to the event.
