Just For Laughs Festival – Toronto

The 3rd annual Just For Laughs Festival is back in Toronto from July 15, 2009 to July 19, 2009. Numerous events will be taking place across the city at various venues. Massey Hall will be holding galas on July 16, 17 and 18 with guests including John Pinette, Jeremy Hotz, Sarah Silverman and John Cleese, just to name a few.One of the fastest rising stars on the international comedy scene, Danny Bhoy will be featured in the One Man Show series being held at the St. Lawrence Centre every evening during the festival. The Ethnic Comedy Show will be held at the Winter garden Theatre Centre on July 17 and 18 and will be hosted by This Hour has 22 Minutes’ Shaun Majumder and featuring Tonight Show veteran Steve Byrne, Egyptian-Australian Akmal Saleh, special guestToronto’s own Frank Spadoneand more. Toronto’s debut of the Nasty Show will be taking place on July 18 at 8 p.m. Hosted by Emmy Award-nominee Nick DiPaolo, this year’s Nasty Show lineup includes superstar Patrice O’Neal and Canada’s own Jason Rouse.
