Fashion House Chanel Brings India To Paris Fashion Week With The Paris-Bombay collection
Designer Karl Lagerfeld brought India to Paris Fashion Week with his Paris-Bombay collection. A huge moment for Indian fashion and Bollywood's known style starlet Sonam Kapoor along with the international Freida Pinto were on hand to experience this spectacular opulent pre show.

The show took place tues, Dec 6th 2011. Lagerfeld presented his Paris-Bombay collection during the Metiers D'Art show for Chanel however the collection will not be available for sale till June 2012.

The venue Grand Palais in Paris emulated an Indian-themed dinner party, regal in its décor.
The actual Chanel makeup worn by the models also had Indian inspired names. Products used included Route des Indes de Chanel face powder and Le Vernis Nail Colour in Diwali. Eyeliner was prominent, a focal point of the Indian face along with prominent headpieces such as the turban and jeweled tikkas.
